Aim of project

GLOBE TROTTERS is a small-scale cooperation project offering a new way to support female entrepreneurs interested in internationalisation. The tools and methods prepared by the partners aim to increase their ability (and chances) to cooperate, compete, and work at the international level.

The main target group in the activity are also WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS interested in working at the international level. Each partner already works with female professionals and entrepreneurs, and most of them are interested in working at the global level and are keen to meet their international counterparts. The partners will inform and engage them and invite them to participate in the 1st edition of the MEET&LEARN workshop in Barcellona (5 and 6 September 2024).

Framework will offer 4 of its female associates the possibility to travel to Barcelona and meet the partners and the other participants.

Resources

The knowledge gathered by the partners will be summed up in the EDUCATORS TOOLKIT, which will be created gradually during the project implementation in a learning-by-doing process aimed at ensuring equal benefit from the project’s activities and cooperation with the other partners. A group of experts will assess and validate the toolkit, helping the partners improve and finalise it. Then, the partners will present the toolkit to other professionals in a final international seminar.  

With this project, the partners will deepen their understanding of the needs of women entrepreneurs interested in internationalisation and learn how to support them in planning their strategy and setting their network to work and compete internationally, regardless of their sector and specialisation.

Activities

During the 12-month-long cooperation, the partners will create and test a toolkit offering educators and other experts to facilitate organising a new collaborative workshop developed by the partners. The toolkit provides information on how to plan, implement and deliver engaging, collaborative learning sessions to women entrepreneurs, allowing them to share their abilities and expertise and boost their possibility of getting in contact with other women interested in making new connections at the international level.

During the project, the partners will share their expertise in training, networking, internationalization, ICT, and adult skill development and deepen their understanding of the specific competencies and skills educators need to possess to support women in their internationalization process. 

The 4 partners in this project are already working to support women in their improvement journeys, and they already offer specialised and tailored solutions to foster their ability to work better and to be more competitive in the National market. With this project, the partners (who already work at the international level) want to consolidate their abilities and add a new layer to their structures. By working together, they contribute to strengthening each other, making the results more innovative, and fitting the needs of the target audiences and beneficiaries. They have different expertise and professional experiences, encompassing skills development, adult education, course development, networking, coaching, ICT and entrepreneurship.

Results

The toolkit will provide information on how to plan, implement and deliver engaging, collaborative learning sessions to women entrepreneurs interested in working and competing at the international level, allowing them to share their abilities and expertise and boost their possibility of getting in contact with other women interested in making new connections at the global level. The proposed workshop model will offer a new way to support female participants’ professional development and get them involved in networking possibilities to meet potential clients, new colleagues, peers, or business partners in a more engaging and formative way. To deliver this innovative workshop format, the partners must increase their ability to understand and facilitate cooperation among the participants and get new skills to support their journey.
