The project focuses on creating new empowerment opportunities for young women facing socio-economic barriers, such as low educational qualifications, immigrant backgrounds, or disabilities. It leverages sustainable entrepreneurship to enhance their sense of initiative and support them in becoming socially and financially independent.

Aim of project
Develop and evaluate an Improvement Program specifically tailored to support young women from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds as they pursue the launch of a social enterprise, enter the job market, or return to education.
Target
The target group of this project consists of young women (aged 18 to 34) from vulnerable households, who struggle with low self-confidence and feelings of inadequacy. These women aspire to create positive change in their lives but often face difficulties securing the funding needed to bring their ideas to life. They lack family support, which hinders their path to independence, and encounter challenges due to their disadvantaged socio-economic environments, cultural backgrounds, and traditions.
Impact
The program ensures that participants will receive support and guidance from educators, professionals, and the local community, boosting their confidence and ability to take action approach contributes to creating a nurturing environment and follows a “learning by doing” incremental process.

Project Approved!
We’re excited to kick off this new adventure! In May, Valeria will meet with the partners to present the project in detail and ensure a strong foundation for collaboration. March 2025 – Initial Meeting Between Partners in Bucharest, Romania
The partners gathered in Bucharest to share their experience in the fields of women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and share their extensive experience, laying the groundwork for the development of innovative and practical resources aimed at women interested in sustainable entrepreneurship.
May 2025 – Initial Research and Focus Groups for Women Interested in Entrepreneurship
To prepare for the development and delivery of this program, we are looking for experts in female entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, communication, and mindfulness to help complete research on innovative methods to be included in the program. If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us!

October 2025 – Second partners’ meeting in Malta.

The partners reconvened in Malta to finalize the program content and define empowerment strategies to be implemented throughout the upcoming activities.
November 15th, Torino – Networking event
Elevate project has been presented by Valeria at annual AGENTS OF CHANGE network event. (more information here https://aframework.it/en/accelerating-the-future-through-collaboration/).
The event aimed at creating a more stable local network for FRAMEWORK and supporting ELEVATE in the process. AFF and PULSE also participated at the activities, making the presentation more meanfull.

Workshops in Torino
The free workshops dedicated to young women interested in strengthening useful skills to deal with complex contexts, identify opportunities and make informed decisions have come to an end. We thank Stefania Rosso for guiding us in this experience of discovery and self-awareness.
