Tecniche come brainstorming e design thinking incoraggiano idee nuove.
Stefania Rosso: Good morning everyone, we are here in the company of Dr. Marina Ionel, who is the owner of M.I. Immobiliare and Natalia, who is a young entrepreneur, aspiring entrepreneur. We are here because we are part of a project, the Elevate project. Welcome both of you, I would ask, obviously immediately, to Dr. Marina Ionel, what is entrepreneurship? Obviously for her, what are the skills she has developed to manage her business in order to also be… give good advice to those who decide to take up this profession. I ask you specifically, for example, what are the ideas that can be achievable and feasible and how you can understand, no?, which ones are feasible, precisely.
Marina Ionel: For me, entrepreneurship means transforming a vision into reality with method and discipline.
Stefania Rosso: Which are very important because the method and discipline we know that without them you cannot move forward, in the sense that then one gets lost in the course of one’s work career.
Marina Ionel: Exactly, being able to bring an idea to the market in a concrete way.
Stefania Rosso: An innovative idea, clearly, because then we know the market in many environments is saturated and therefore a bit of the idea of always being able to have something unique I guess, right? Like his story, for example?
Marina Ionel: My story is particular in the sense that I arrived in Italy as a young man with a degree that was unfortunately not recognized here. So I had to …..
Stefania Rosso: A degree in what subject?
Marina Ionel: Law.
Stefania Rosso: Law, so in short, an important degree, she must have studied a lot, a course of study that here in Italy in short….. ehh so she discovered that… Become…..
Marina Ionel: Yes, that’s right, not being recognized here in Italy, clearly, I had to reinvent myself in some way and start from scratch. I trained for many years in the banking sector where I was a real estate credit consultant after which the next step I took was to be a mediator, real estate broker at agencies, at multinationals among other things and then I came to open my own agency.
Stefania Rosso: Ahh congratulations, because it certainly must not have been easy, no?, above all to see your studies not recognized and also change sector, because from law to move to the real estate sector, in short. And which ones, I ask a little, no?, even especially then to hear Natalia’s comment as well, how do you manage to overcome the fear of not being able to achieve certain goals? That is, how do you manage to prepare in advance to face risks or even learn it a little on the job?
Marina Ionel: Certainly you learn on the job, precisely because in fact the fear of failure is something natural for everyone. But you still learn, along the way, that failure is not the end. Failure is precisely that passage of reflection of… Mmm….
Stefania Rosso: Yes, this sentence is beautiful. Failure is not … Failure is not the end, is it!? In fact, they are often also highlighted, sometimes during fashion shows when a model, for example, gets up after falling that someone says, but in short, she does her job; Yet, it’s a great example, isn’t it?, that of always having the ability to resolve oneself.
Marina Ionel: Certainly, in fact, in my case I have learned, among other things, to transform these difficulties into energy that has given me strength to go on, to apply my method.
Stefania Rosso: which is the famous resilience, isn’t it!? when …
Marina Ionel: That’s right
Stefania Rosso: when we say being resilient. And how would you describe his leadership style a bit? What she is like as an entrepreneur, in short. How can you also never lose motivation even in the face of these things he was telling us.
Marina Ionel: My leadership style I would call very practical in the sense that I never ask people to do what I don’t do first. And in this way I believe I have credibility in front of the people who collaborate with me. The motivation is found precisely in seeing the results, in seeing along the path that accompanying, among other things, of families, people that is, to take an important step, among the most important of their lives is that of buying a house or selling, The change of houses is always a very important moment for families.
Stefania Rosso: Yes, it is also very personal in the sense that I imagine that you have to know the needs of customers, understand in which direction they want to go.
Marina Ionel: Absolutely, in fact for every single operation, if we want to call it,
To call them that, you prepare a lot, you prepare exactly as you prepare an investment in a bank, because in any case you prepare with numbers, with market analysts,
in such a way, that is, to apply to the basis of concrete data and to arrive in any case certain that a lot of courage is also put into many situations, but in any case by applying all these parameters, it is possible to obtain the result.
Stefania Rosso: No, this is interesting because it also goes a bit against the trend against homologation, no?, the fact of saying that this entrepreneurship that follows a direction of construction on the individual is very interesting because, in short, until a few years ago, there was a bit of this idea that instead it was the customer, it was a bit of a number, instead this thing is beautiful.
Marina Ionel: No, actually in my sector it is about people, not numbers,
With numbers we certainly work on the basis of the individual operation, but at the base of these operations let’s remember that it is always people.
Stefania Rosso: Exactly, person first place. Well thank you, thank you for these words, but I’m curious to know if now Natalia, no?, that we presented earlier, this aspiring entrepreneur, I don’t know, wants to ask something or what is there, the reference a little of these words that she has heard.
Natalia: Yes, hello everyone, I want to say that Marina inspires me a lot, she is an example of the woman, of the foreign woman who has managed to do it, so she inspires me to continue to overcome fears, to have and work on this bat of an indeee..
Stefania Rosso: Because as I imagine that you are also listening to us, you will have understood too,
You’re not Italian, right? Where do you come from?
Natalia: I am Ukrainian, so I too have overcome this of learning a language of getting to know people, of encountering difficulties, of overcoming fears and therefore having an example of a woman who has managed to do and continue to do, to put all my heart into what she does, for me it is very important. So I want to thank you for this knowledge. I want to ask for advice, a vision for my future, for how to create this that you like and that you want to grow.
Stefania Rosso: That is, how to make your dreams come true, no?, that is, to succeed if…
Natalia: Yes, especially in a foreign country for me, let’s say
Stefania Rosso: Of course
Natalia: in a new country.
Stefania Rosso: Let’s see, with one sentence, what can be a piece of advice,
that maybe served you too.
Marina Ionel: I don’t know, I don’t know the sector in which Natalia is addressed,
but surely what could be valid in every sector,
is definitely not expecting to be recognized by others,
but to find their own space, to make their own space anyway.
Stefania Rosso: Well, I would say with these beautiful words,
we close this day and thanks again to Marina Ionel and Natalia.
